Teacher’s Easy Banana Bread
My daughter’s 5th grade teacher is wonderful! She holds baking classes with the kids, and here’s their recipe for Easy Banana Bread. It’s simple and delicious!
Ingredients:
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 stick butter, melted
- 2 eggs
- 3 ripe bananas, mashed
- 2 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¾ bag chocolate chips (optional)
5 x 9 loaf pan
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Use Pam to spray the bottom and sides of your loaf pan. In bowl, mix the eggs, sugar and melted butter. Add the mashed bananas and stir well. Add the flour, baking soda, salt and mix. If using chocolate chips, stir them in now. Bake 45 minutes, then test for doneness. Let cool and enjoy!
*We’ve made this with chocolate chips, and without. It’s great both ways.
