Unsubscribe from Song Alerts
Here are step-by-step instructions on how to unsubscribe from song alert emails, text messages, and tweets.
To Unsubscribe from Song Alerts:
Step 1:
From thejoyfm.com homepage, look for the "Pick the #1 Song this hour!" box (directly to the right of the Now Playing / Current Show / Recently Played boxes) and click on green "song alerts' tab.
Step 2:
If you are currently signed into the song alert widget, you will see "My Alerts" along with a list of the songs you have signed up to receive alerts for. (Note: If you do not see the "My Alerts" box, continue to the next section below for instructions on how to log into your alerts.)
Click on the bell icon to the right of the song title that you would like to manage your alerts for, which will bring up the "Manage Song Alerts" window. If you have more than two alerts set, you can click on the green "All Alerts" button to manage all of your alerts at one time.
Step 3:
Once you are in the "Manage Song Alerts" screen, you will see a box with a number in it to the right of each song title. This represents the number of alerts you have requested for each song.
- To remove the alert for a song, click the green 'Remove Alert' text directly below the number box, then click "save alerts" to save your changes.
- To reduce the number of alerts for a song, click the green minus symbol to the left of the number box, then click "save alerts" to save your changes.
- To increase the number of alerts for a song, click the green plus symbol to the right of the number box, then click "save alerts" to save your changes.
Repeat this step for each song alert you would like to change.
