The Morning Cruise Replay - Filled With Thanks

Monday, November 23, 2020

As we begin the week of Thanksgiving, we started this morning looking back with thankful hearts to last week's Sharathon as you helped us meet the goal early!

We shared a few of our favorite memories from the last week and got ready for Thanksgiving with a couple of recipes. But Bill's first recipe didn't turn out like he thought it would, even though Dave and Carmen knew better. His second recipe, that his wife tried, turned out much better for Sweet Potato Crescent Bites.

Carmen then shared how her brother-in-law is doing with a cancer diagnosis that has now gotten to the point where he is no longer receiving treatment. And recognizing that many people are going through something right now, she shared from 2 Corinthians 4:8.

We looked back at our Friendsgiving week from 2019, and re-shared Molly's Pumpkin Pie recipe with you.

Carmen has always been thankful for her TV when it comes to local news and sports, but she is now considering cutting the cord to her cable.

Bill reviewed the movie, Against The Tide, which has one more night in theatres tonight.

Dave told us all about the "Charlie Brown-esque" Christmas tree in NYC's Rockefeller Center.

And we looked ahead  to this Friday and the start of Christmas music on The JOY FM, before Bill gave us his BIG Word of the Day.
