April is National Sexual Assault Awareness Month. Without question, this is a tough subject, and one that seems not very family friendly. However, it’s a reality for 1 in 3 women. We met Ria Story last year. Ria was the victim of sexual assault within her family. You can’t imagine her story being a JOY Story, but through her choices with support and faith in Jesus, Ria has found redemption and healing. She’s brave to share her story. HEADS UP, though, this is NOT an easy story to hear or see, but one that needs to be told. Please use your discretion with young children! -carmen
