Description:
The Social Media Assistant will play a key role in attracting, engaging, and expanding A Door of Hope’s targeted social media audience through effective strategic communication and campaigns. Responsibilities include conception, development, and execution of campaigns, plans, and strategies across our social media platforms under the supervision of the Director of Marketing in collaboration with our Licensing and Development Teams. The Social Media Assistant is expected to exhibit exceptional proficiency in time management and communication, coupled with an extraordinary ability to empathize and think from the perspectives of partners, donors, or foster parents. All A Door of Hope activities are to be conducted in a manner that helps improve ministry effectiveness, achieve development goals and objectives, make disciples in our community and bring glory to God. • Developing and implementing effective social media strategies. • Producing innovative ideas and concepts using the latest available tools. • Creating content (posts, stories, reels, etc.) that attracts the attention of the target audience. This includes designing graphics for posts and stories. • Writing copy, proofreading, and ensuring the content is attractive and engaging. • Managing and scheduling social media communication on time as per the plan. • Monitoring social media metrics and KPIs regularly. • Working in collaboration with Marketing, Development, and Licensing teams. • Research new concepts and ideas and propose them to management. • Attending brainstorming sessions and meeting with team members to discuss campaigns. • Preparing campaign reports and presenting them to the Director of Marketing. • Attend official ADH events to capture engaging content for our social media platforms. This role requires flexibility to work occasional nights and weekends


Qualifications:
• Strong commitment to the Statement of Faith and philosophy of A Door of Hope. • Ability to have a flexible schedule to include nights and weekends. • Graduation from high school with a diploma and a minimum of two years social media experience or a bachelor’s degree in communication, marketing, or social media. • Familiarity with foster care or social services is helpful but not necessary. • Excellent organizational and time management skills, ability to function with minimum supervision, able to multi-task while also able to prioritize tasks accordingly. • 3+ years of successful social media experience • Reliable transportation • Exceptional attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and precision in all tasks. • Proficient understanding of major social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and a willingness to adapt and utilize LinkedIn effectively. • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills. Excellent proofreader. • Know-how in photography and graphic design. • Eagerness to learn about new innovations and software. • Analytical skills with knowledge of social media metrics and KPIs. • Must have a valid Florida driver’s license with reliable transportation. • Successfully complete a criminal background screening. • Must be able to move 25 lbs.
