Youth Sexual Risk Avoidance Program Coordinator

Description:
Sexual Risk Avoidance Education (SRAE) teaches participants how to voluntarily refrain from non-marital sexual activity. SRAE Programs also teach the benefits associated with: self-regulation success sequencing for poverty prevention healthy relationships goal setting resisting sexual coercion avoiding dating violence resisting youth risk behaviors such as: underage drinking and illicit drug use Our Sexual Risk Program is offered at youth groups, schools and community centers throughout the Sarasota, Charlotte and DeSoto counties. Duties: Plan and direct all education and awareness events Train and support all volunteers Develop and implement curriculum Recruiting, training, and mentoring volunteers/interns

Qualifications:
Experience in Church Ministry (volunteer or paid position work) or Para-Church Ministry required, Bible College or Ministry Schooling Experience Preferred. Be a committed Christian who demonstrates a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord and is active in a local church. Exhibit a strong commitment and dedication to the pro-life position and sexual purity. Feels a High Calling to minister to Youth, both at Church and “non-Churched” teens. Relatable and personal. Must be able to speak publicly to teens of all ages and relate in a real and authentic way. Must be organized and have administrative qualities. Focused and goal oriented with a highly motivated personality. Fresh and new ideas are welcomed. Must be able to write messages/sermons. Both Biblically and SRAE based. Networking experience is a plus. Will need to build and garner relationships with principles, youth pastors and community center leaders. Social media marketing and design is a plus but not required.
