Radiology & CT Technologist Open House – SMH - Venice Campus Meet with the Leadership Team and learn about opportunities available with our Advanced Digital Imaging and Radiology Services Team Thursday, August 22, from 8:00 am – 10:00 am RSVP and Save Your Spot! Job Summary Radiologic Technologist, works under the direction of a Radiologist, performs radiographic procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail. Technologist will perform a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgment with ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis and/or intervention. Technologist will assume responsibility for all designated areas and procedures as required to include all C-Arm procedures. CT Technoligist, Registered, works under the direction of a Radiologist, performs radiographic procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail. Performs a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgment with ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation or prescribed radiofrequency beams for radiologic diagnosis and / or intervention. Assumes responsibility for designated areas or procedures as required.
Qualifications:
Requirements Needed for the Position: Associates Degree or Technical degree in related field ARRT: Amer Reg Rad Technologist BLS: Basic Life Support/CPR FL RT: Florida Radiologic Technologist Advanced Registry in CT (CT Technologists, Registered) What We’re Looking For: Ability to interact successfully with patients, staff, and other healthcare providers. Excellent communication skills. Knowledge and understanding of relevant computer skill necessary for patient ID system. Knowledge and competency of equioment and protocol for specific modalities. Self-motivated with the ability to work with minimal supervision. Our State-of-the-Art Radiology Imaging Department features: 3D imaging Abdominal imaging and intervention Bone densitometry Breast MRI, ultrasound and mammography Cardiovascular imaging & intervention CT, PET CT and CT guided biopsies Musculoskeletal imaging and intervention Neuroradiology imaging and intervention Nuclear medicine Thoracentesis/paracentesis Thoracic imaging Ultrasound imaging & ultrasound-guided biopsies
