Description:
- Organize and direct small groups of students in after-school activities. - Provide age-appropriate, engaging, and interactive activities for elementary grade levels. - Ensure the safety and active supervision of students at all times. - Assist in the planning and implementation of a daily program that meets the needs of the children in attendance. - Interact effectively and respond to all parent communication in a professional, empathetic, and timely manner. - Work collaboratively with peers, teachers, staff, parents, students, and administration to create a positive, supportive team atmosphere. - Be willing to fulfill job-related responsibilities in accordance with the school’s policies and procedures. - Relate well to children of various ages and grade levels.
Qualifications:
- Affirm the Christian faith as expressed in the Nicene Creed, without exception, and be an active member of a local church. - Maintain the highest ethical standards of the teaching profession. - High School Diploma or GED and be at least 18 years of age - Submit to a VECHS Level 2 background check as required by the Florida Department of Education.
