Insulation Outside Sales Rep / Backup Installer - PT

A Rapidly growing home-insulation company is looking to hire someone to help with measuring for estimates, for attic insulation and occasionally wall / crawl-space insulation. Candidates must be comfortable and physically able to maneuver through small spaces and walk carefully through a home-owners attic. Ability to climb stairs & ladders is a must. Ideal candidate has a background in insulation, home renovations, home-services, or other backgrounds that require working on ladders or in tight spaces (such as firefighter, etc.) However, a background in other areas will be highly considered as well. Candidates must be detail oriented and a go-getter. Our business is growing and we are aiming for a rapid growth trajectory, especially in certain areas of the Atlanta metro area. Ideal candidate lives in Dekalb county in the Tucker / Decatur / East Atlanta area or in close proximity. Ideal candidates would be willing to start small at our company and grow into a larger role. Candidates will primarily be customer facing which includes going on-site to a potential customer’s house to measure their attic/crawl space and assess needs. Follow-ups with the client will be required as well, such as sending customers a formal estimate and scheduling the job. Good personal skills are a must. On occasion, candidates must be willing to help crew members install insulation if a job requires extra crew or a crewmember is sick/on vacation. Must have a “team-player” attitude. The candidate must be willing to get involved and help get the job complete. They will potentially be required to feed the truck / hopper or help install batt insulation in walls / crawlspaces. Training will be provided. The candidate must be willing to do the following: • Have their own car and be willing to drive • Be responsive and a clear communicator • Use personal smartphone for scheduling and estimate details • Able to measure and do basic math • Able to write detailed instructions / notes and take photos • Extremely careful in attic spaces • Must be willing to get their hands dirty and actually assist the crew What will be provided: • Tape Measure • Laser Measure • Head lamp and flashlight • Company shirt and hat • App/software to work remotely • Training & onboarding Pay: • Flat pay structure for each on-site measuring/estimate, plus commission pay on jobs won. • Gas and mileage will be reimbursed at federal rate • Pay per sq ft of insulation installed on days helping the crew

Qualifications:
High school graduate or GED Prior construction or home serves experience are a plus Willing to learn a new skill
