Description:
Certified medical assistant needed for busy OB/GYN practice. Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, assisting in rooms with physician, obtaining and updating medical history in EHR, maintaining logs, patient calls, e-prescribing medications, handling and preparing specimens for lab transport. Some administrative duties such as faxing, typing, computer entry, answering phone calls are also responsibilities. HIPPA and OSHA compliant. Salary based on experience.
Qualifications:
Medical assistant certification. Must be organized and detail oriented. Must be self motivated, dependable and trustworthy. Applicant must have a good work history and dependable transportation.
