Maintenance Tech

Description:
Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Apartment Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the overall safety, functionality, and appearance of our apartment community. This role requires proficiency in general handyman work, carpentry, plumbing, painting, basic HVAC knowledge, and electrical knowledge. Any experience with appliance repairs is considered a plus. Responsibilities: - Perform routine maintenance tasks such as repairing plumbing systems and fixing leaks - Conduct carpentry work including installation and repair of doors, cabinets, and trim as needed - Paint and touch up walls, ceilings, and other surfaces - Troubleshoot, basic repair, and maintain HVAC systems (HVAC certification a plus, but not required) - Conduct basic electrical repairs - Perform appliance maintenance and repairs (if applicable) - maintain grounds including the clean-up of dumpster and trash compactor areas, pick up of litter - Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner and document all work performed - Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and building codes.

Qualifications:
Requirements: - Proven experience as an Apartment Maintenance Technician or similar role - Proficiency in general handyman work, including carpentry, plumbing, painting, and basic HVAC knowledge - Familiarity with electrical systems and basic electrical repairs - Experience with appliance repairs is a plus - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail - Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively - Excellent communication and customer service skills - Availability to respond to after-hours maintenance emergencies, as needed.
