Ministry Program Director, Tapachula, Mexico

Description:
Mission on the Move is seeking a long-term Ministry Program Director to be US-based but serve in Tapachula, Mexico 9-10 months out of the year. We currently have 3 full-time, family-style children's homes with the vision and resources to open a 4th home, when the time is right, to care for up to 30 children. This position is a direct report to the Mission on the Move Executive Director and also serves on the local Board of Directors for the children's homes.

Qualifications:
Key Skills: Leadership Business management Ability to adapt and be flexible Relationship building Ministry and experience with children Short term or long-term missions experience in other cultures The Ministry Program Director will have responsibility to: - Lead the local ministry according to the policies of Mission on the Move and local law for children in the legal guardianship of child protection services -Lead and support our local house parents and staff with the care and training needed to care for children who have experienced trauma - Manage the relationship with our representatives from the local child protection services organization - Manage the ministry finances according to the board-approved budget -Coordinate, plan for and fully host visiting mission teams - Love, disciple and support the children we serve - Work closely with the ministry's Local Administrator who is a direct report to this position - Work with the Exec Director to set the vision and strategic direction for the local ministry
