Hillcrest Baptist Church (HBC) is a non-profit Southern Baptist entity, seeking to Know Christ, and to Make Christ known. All staff members must profess and exhibit a Christian attitude, ensuring to demonstrate their love for Christ in their daily interactions. HBC is hiring a part-time Child Care Associate. In this position, you will couple your positive attitude with a desire to share the love of Jesus with children, birth to 4 years old. Every interaction should be handled with the mindset of sharing Christ with others. This is a ministry role, supporting the congregational families and supporting the Pastor in ministry. RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform all aspects of worship to include: • Greeting and receiving children from parents • Caring for children during church services and special events • Ensure safety of children during services • Ensure cleanliness of children during service • Provide loving Christian environment for the children

Qualifications:
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: • Minimum of three – five years’ experience • High School diploma • Prior experience in a church or non-profit setting • Must pass drug screen and background check PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Preference will be given to candidates who have the following: • Former Church or non-profit childcare experience • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written • Proven ability to work effectively both independently and in a team-based environment
