Title: Customer Services Associate IK - Seasonal Department: Donor Services Reports To: Donor Services Manager Special Projects Status: Non-Exempt Salary: $15.00 Job Functions: Our Customer Services Associate will participate in supporting the Tampa Bay community through data entry work and other customer support functions as a member of a larger, fun team. This is an administrative job not dealing directly with the public, helping to record and acknowledge donations given. The Customer Services Associate will help provide vital support to Metropolitan Ministries and those we serve. Your participation will help provide a happy holiday to many! Essential Responsibilities: 1) Responsible for timeliness and accuracy of the donor database including, but not limited to, the processing of inkind gifts daily which requires a basic knowledge of Excel. Training on the use of Raiser’s Edge will be provided. CSA may be asked to assist with printing acknowledgment notes related to tribute gifts as a part of the thanking process. 2) CSA may need to provide backup data entry support for cash gift processing. All functions must meet the timelines acceptable to company standards. 3) Review and comply with departmental procedures. Responsible for accurate and timely data entry. 4) Assist with maintenance of donor records and database cleanup as assigned. 5) Work with office equipment, including copying and scanning. 6) Support the team in other tasks as assigned. 7) Meets personal goals and actively contributes to the achievement of team and organizational goals. 8) Must successfully demonstrate the following skills: problem solving, ability to perform multiple tasks, prioritizing, speed and accuracy, and querying and reporting. Must successfully demonstrate advanced computer skills and problem-solving ability with software.

Education and Experience: High School graduate and demonstrated proficiency with business software packages and Microsoft Excel required. Clerical skills including adding machine required. One to two years proven experience in a related field. Skill Requirements: Must be able to work within a multi-disciplinary team framework; must be able to communicate effectively in English; must be dependable; demonstrates maturity and sensitivity to issues of faith, culture, and other sources of diversity; ability to plan and organize work and attend to detail; ability to handle job-related matters in a professional and diplomatic manner. Customer service-oriented, good phone speaking skills, and positive, helpful attitude. Physical Requirements: Hearing and speaking ability which allows for effective oral communication of information; physical, emotional and spiritual stamina to handle job-related issues and stress. Other: Demonstrates a passion for the mission and vision of Metropolitan Ministries. Must demonstrate legal authorization to work in the United States. Must pass applicable pre-internship background screening procedures.
