The Office of Academic Admissions at Augusta University is seeking a dynamic & organized professional to provide a student-focused customer service approach, in understanding University System of Georgia policies, Augusta University's processes & systems, and provide training to others within our office. The Admissions Operations Coordinator works closely with university staff & faculty and is relied upon to provide data and reports as needed, to contribute to both university enrollment goals & the overall success of the department. The responsibilities include, but are not limited to: -Ensures that admissions criteria and requirements are meet by monitoring and performing daily decisioning processes. Create queries and reports in assisting departmental student review and internal review. -Review credentials for the determination of residency for tuition purposes and maintain up to date residency information as determined by the University System of Georgia requirements. -Contributes to the overall success of the department by performing other essential duties and responsibilities as assigned by the immediate supervisor. -Data entry & scanning of documents into BANNER/SLATE and Xtender respectively. -Processes and communicates application decisions to the students while using the enrollment confirmation process. -Prepare, process, & review mailing of undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral admissions letters. -Performs quality control checks on data entry, reviews the completed documents and submitting the documents for approval or processing the documents according to established procedures. -Perform quality control checks on program specific and graduate students to ensure institutional and university system requirements are maintained. -Provides required or requested informations and/or data for undergraduate and graduate applications, internal or external reports, and records, and organizing and presenting the information in a usable and understandable format. -Assists in effective training on departmental procedures and policies, making appropriate work assignments. -Perform all other related duties as assigned.
Bachelors Degree from an accredited college or university and two years' of experience related to enrollment management and credit evaluation or related field. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Experience in BANNER, Xtender, Reporting systems, transfer articulation or other student information systems
