Overview The Business Process Analyst I will assist the Business Process Analyst team to complete various IT operational and project related activities in accordance with the performance work statement. This position supports the Enterprise Information Services for Department of Energy (DOE) Savannah River Operations Office (DOE-SR) federal government staff and site contractors at the Savannah River Site (SRS) in Aiken SC. Responsibilities - Assists the Business Process Analyst II with the following responsibilities: --- Develop and/or refine business, functional and performance requirement for all proposed and existing information systems. --- Document business, functional and performance requirements into a User Story format. --- Document compliance and legal rules, corporate mandates, internal best practices to facilitate sharing, process efficiency and communication. --- Document benefits and needs of all information stakeholders, including internal stakeholders (e.g., knowledge workers, legal staff, risk managers, Line of Business managers and external stakeholders). Integral to every functional area and business application. --- Identify infrastructure, rules and guidelines and ancillary services to assist departments in efficiently and effectively managing their information, facilitate the establishment of an organizational wide standard of quality. --- Must be able to document business processes in a baseline state and produce reports to clearly articulate proposed modified states. --- Assist in the identification of operational business processes and documentation of the processes. --- Collect system essential documentation in the design, deployment, and maintenance of the Enterprise Content Management (ECM) platform.


Qualifications Required: - Must have a minimum of three years’ experience in business process analytics. - Must have a minimum of three years’ experience in Continuous Improvement, Business Process Analysis, Lean Process Management, Six Sigma, Total Quality Management - Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint), Microsoft Project, Microsoft Visio, Internet Explorer, Lotus Notes, and Adobe Professional. - Must be an effective communicator (oral and written). - Must possess (or be able to obtain) a “Q” level security clearance Preferred: Business Process Management Master (BPMM) certification preferred, but not required. Information Organization & Access Master (IOAM) certification preferred, but not required.
