Growing Christian ministry seeking Christian candidates for a full-time Nurse Practitioner role that also supports general medical activities of the medical team. Under management of the COO/Nurse Manager and supervision of the Medical Director, this APRN position supports the medical activities of the Center. This position provides assistance to the Nurse Manager, helping coordinate the day-to-day activities of Medical Team members. Primary activities include medical intakes and wellness exams, along with onsite lab work, medical consultations and ordering tests and treatment. Also, follows policies and procedures to uphold highly confidential and sensitive information. Interacts with external callers, clients, staff, board members and volunteers. Essential Functions 1. Under the direction of the Medical Director, provide medical services within the scope of practice for an APRN. 2. Assist in coordinating and supporting clinic staff in all aspects of client care, education, consultation, case management, follow up, resources and referrals. Assist in training new Medical Team members. 3. Ensure accurate management of lab tests by ordering and/or performing tests which include outside lab tests, reporting positive STD results as required by law. Interpret results and provide treatment. 4. Completely and accurately document subjective and objective data, assessment, and plan of care in the electronic medical records system following medical standards. 5. Meet with clients to perform medical intakes, wellness exams which include obtaining medical history, performing a physical exam, ordering diagnostic tests and individual treatment. 6. Provide patient and family support and education, including health teaching and counseling. 7. Perform peer chart review as part of a quality improvement (QI) process. 8. Become Care Net trained for peer and abortion recovery counseling as time allows in schedule, within one year. 9. Maintain proprietary and sensitive information with care and professionalism. Follow Center policies and procedures. 10. Work independently and within a team on special non-recurring and ongoing projects as requested by the Nurse Manager/COO or CEO. 11. Collaborate with the Medical Director and other providers to provide optimal patient care. 12. Maintain telephone etiquette at all times using professionalism in interacting with callers, clients and Center visitors. 13. Other medical support activities as requested by the Nurse Manager/COO (e.g. preparing intake packets, ordering medical supplies). 14. When appropriate, train to perform Limited OB Ultrasounds. Pay: $28.00 per hour COVID-19 considerations: We follow all CDC guidelines regarding safety in the workplace.

Work Environment This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers and filing cabinets. Physical Demands Some physical demands will be made to carry out ultrasounds. Some filing may also be required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand as necessary. Position Type and Expected Hours of Work Hours in response to the patient load and as decided upon with the COO/Nurse Manager. Travel Travel for this position is minimal but may include travel to local meetings. Required Education and Experience 1. Current Florida State Nursing License 2. Current APRN License 3. One year of related experience. Preferred Education and Experience 1. APRN certified in family practice or women’s health, or a CNM. 2. Two years of related experience.
