This includes assisting with planning and implementing activities for children that stress physical, social, and emotional growth. He/She will assist with the personal care, hygiene, and positive discipline of the children and will help maintain classroom records, cleanliness, and order.
Qualifications:
* Teachers must be 21 years of age or older. * Two years’ experience in a licensed Child Care facility. * Certified in Child/Infant CPR, First Aid, and Fire Safety or become within the first 90 days. * Must maintain state in-service requirements. * Must pass State and Federal criminal background check. (Fingerprints required) * Must possess knowledge and understanding of all current and local regulations. * Excellent communication and people skills. * Able to lift up to 30 pounds. * Able to react to emergency situations within 50 feet in 15 seconds. * Must be able to see, hear, and communicate verbally and in writing with staff, parents, and children * Must be able to bend, stoop, squat at least 95% of the day. * Able to stand for long periods of time, at least 95% of the day.
