Guest Service Representatives will provide accurate and courteous information to the traveling and general public visiting Hartsfield Jackson Atlanta International Airport (the “Airport”). Provide information about the Airport’s facilities, amenities, and services, including escort, and coordinate any assistance that may be needed to move people through the Airport. Participate in keeping airport “Opening Day Fresh,” provide directions and information in the Transportation Mall areas and provide Security Checkpoint Queue Management. To make sure our passengers receive the best travel experience, Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport employs Guest Experience Agents to address passengers' questions, comments, or concerns. Our staff is essential in the Airport’s mission "To be the World’s Best Airport by exceeding customer expectations.” GSR ESSENTIAL DUTIES Welcome visitors and provide accurate and courteous information about the Airport facilities, services, and amenities; Guide direct and escort visitors as needed, including access to AT&T language bank for the non-English speaking visitor; Act as liaison between the Airport, the public, and the Airport tenants to resolve problem situations (follow-up on maintenance calls, and project a positive and professional image while representing the Airport); Assist other Airport operations as requested and provide support for special events; Perform other duties related to Guest Service operations activities as needed. Provide assistance to passengers in the Transportation Mall. Provide escorts to special-needs passengers as needed. Provide Security Checkpoint Queue Management, monitor checkpoint operations, and assist with passenger divesting and re-vesting as required; GSR will be required to deliver high-quality customer care at all times. Always be welcoming, friendly, proactive, efficient, and helpful, and thank the customers for their business. GSR will work in an independent environment that may include the Airport Information Desk, Airport Train Stations located in the Transportation Mall, and other locations as needed. Rotate on-call duty, and be available on short notice, as required. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to: Walk and/or stand for 8 hours. ENVIRONMENTAL FACTORS: 1. Work may be indoors in a climate-controlled building or outdoors in various weather conditions. 2. Maybe required to monitor construction area which may require exposure to outside conditions: hot, cold, rain, snow, etc.
Warm friendly personality. High School Diploma or GED. At least to years of experience in customer service. Able to work on Saturday and Sunday.
