We do not receive what we deserve. And that is a very good thing when it comes to our relationship with God. No matter how good we are, it is never good enough. We do not hold the capacity within ourselves to be perfect.

God knows this, He is mindful “that we are but dust,” Psalm 103 says. Yet God has compassion on us just as a good father does on his own children. He has removed the guilt of our sins from us as far as the east is from the west.

God’s great mercy, compassion and love deserve our praise as David writes in Psalm 103. I’ll be sharing from this Psalm this week during Middays Prayer Time, around 10:30 AM and 2:30 PM.
