The JOY FM is teaming up with A Better Way Ministries to collect the following items THIS WEDNESDAY (10/17) from noon to 4pm ONLY-

Bottled Water
Toiletries (deodorant, soap, toothpaste)
Bathroom tissue
Socks
 

Niagara Bottling in Newnan is donating a pallett of water (84 cases), and a team from A Better Way Ministries will be delivering the items to our sister station in Dothan, AL to distribute the items to those affected by Michael. We will be collecting the items at our studios in Tyrone (1175 Senoia Rd, Tyrone, GA 30290). The JOY FM cannot accept any cash donations.

Other ways to help-

Convoy of Hope

Convoy of Hope is sending supplies to those in need. A full fleet of vehicles, with more relief supplies, is set to deploy to join the advance team. Convoy of Hope’s goal in responding to Hurricane Michael is to give people help and hope in times of great need. Teams in the field will distribute relief supplies to storm survivors, coordinate volunteers and assist in cleanup efforts. Convoy of Hope will be working closely with local, state and federal officials in this response.

 

Salvation Army

There is information on how to make a monetary donation, along with how to donate supplies that are needed to help those affected by Michael.

 

Feeding Children Everywhere

Feeding Children Everywhere is sending meal kits to the victims of Hurricane Michael. You can find out information about donations and meal packing efforts.

 

Bridging The Gap

If you live near Coweta County, Bridging the Gap is collecting various cleaning items and bottled water to hurricane victims. Click the link to find out more information.

 

American Red Cross

The American Red Cross is accepting donations. Click on the link and choose Hurricane Michael when prompted. Blood donations will be greatly needed. Look for a blood drive near you here .
