2018 Jamaica Missions Trip

A recap of the week of mission work with a team from The JOY FM & RUSH Ministries

It was a fantastic week in Jamaica!

2018 JOY FM/RUSH Ministries Jamaica Team

Marc and Stephanie Pritchett of RUSH Ministries did an incredible job of coordinating everything, from accommodations to locations where we served. We spent five days visiting remote villages, public schools, and Teen Challenge to lead devotion time, hand out items like bibles, toiletries, flip-flops, and clothing. Our medical team attended to over 500 people.

Here are some of the video highlights-

Day 2 at Murray Mountain Primary School & Widows Mite (an orphanage for severely disabled children)

Day 3 in Windsor-

Our first trip to Parry Town in St. Ann's Bay Parrish. This video gives you an inside look at the medical team-

Day 4- We visited a small village in St. Ann's Bay called Fire Water-

We hope to be returning sometime late May/ early June of 2019. Pray about it! Start fundraising now! Plan on raising $1,500-$2,000.

Find ways to raise funds-

-Mail letters to potential supporters (family, friends, business owners, etc.) Make sure to enclose a self-addressed envelope with your appeal. Your sponsors will use these envelopes to mail their donations.

-Yard sales, doughnut sales, t-shirt sales or a car wash.

-Start a Go Fund Me page

- Apply to organizations that offer scholarships for missions trips.
