The Senoia Vineyard is ALIVE TOGETHER: to LIVE, GROW, and GIVE the love of Jesus.
LIVE – Life begins and continues because of the extravagant love of Jesus, which was demonstrated by his flawless life, his death on our behalf, and his victorious resurrection and ascension. The Senoia Vineyard exists to LIVE together, against the cultural grain of individualism, as a Spirit-empowered community united by faith, continually moved by the love of Christ in worship, authentic life, and supernatural ministry.
GROW – The letter of 1 John tells us that there is an inseparable connection between following the light of Jesus’ love and engaging in loving fellowship with other Jesus-followers. The Senoia Vineyard believes that a key element of being alive together is that we constantly GROW together, “rooted and grounded in love” (Eph. 3:17), toward fruitfulness in Christ. We become more fruitful through the consumption of God’s Word, through intentional relationships with one another, and through the grace of the Holy Spirit working in and through us.
GIVE – In Matthew 22:39, after telling us that the greatest commandment is to love God with our whole being, Jesus reveals that loving our neighbor as ourselves is equally important. According to Luke 10, Jesus described loving one’s neighbor as showing care and compassion for people regardless of race, religious affiliation, or cultural taboos. It is the Senoia Vineyard’s desire to be a compassionate faith community, continually looking for ways to GIVE the extravagant love of Jesus to our neighbors and our world.
