•St. James Community Church is a Non-Denomination Church. •Our desire is to be comfortable and casual in dress and atmosphere, while being passionate about our relationship with Christ with a strong desire to see his Will (The Great Commission) fulfilled through our church by reaching out to all people no matter what age, race, and social standing.
•We believe that the Bible is Holy Spirit inspired and is still speaking to us today. •Our Worship is Modern for a modern Church. Most of our songs can be heard on Christian radio stations everyday. •Our Preaching is Biblical and relevant to today's Christian living and working in a world with; trials, struggles, temptations, stresses, and conflict. •Our Outreach ministries are more than just a part of our Church, it is what we are all about. We feel we have been called to reach out to all people, especially those who are hurting, with food, clothing, love, compassion, and Christ. Jesus said Whatever you have done to the least of these, you have done it unto me (Matthew 25:40)
•No, we are not Catholic, but we get our name from James who wrote the book of James who said this....Pure Religion is this, to visit the Orphans and Widows in their afflictions (James 1:27) and Be doers of the Word and not just hearers only (James 1:22)
•We believe that The Church is not the building we meet in. The Church consists of all people of every nation that trust in Christ as their Savior. Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? (1 Corinthians 6:19)
•We also come together each week as a Church family and celebrate The Lord's Supper. Not out of necessity or ritual, but out of desire to remember the great sacrifice that was paid on our behalf by Christ. This is my body which is for you. Do this in remembrance of me. (1 Corinthians 11:24-25)
