We are a Spirit-filled Southern Baptist Church led by our Pastor Dr. Wayne Scarborough Sr. Auburn Heights is built upon the sound teaching of God’s word with a balance of the word and the power of the Spirit. We are unashamed to say we are charismatic in our worship and ministry. The word “charismatic” comes from the root word charisma, which means “an extraordinary power (as in healing) given to a Christian by the Holy Spirit for the good of the church.” Everything we do is to honor our Lord and to proclaim the Kingdom of God to our city and world. We believe Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever. Our emphasis is on worshipping the Lord with praise and adoration, preaching the Kingdom of God followed by signs and wonders with the results of changed lives.
