African Methodist Episcopal Church founded by Bishop Richard Allen. Est. Philadelphia, PA. 1878. St James has been a family institution in Columbus GA for nearly 154 years as of 2017. Church now sits in its original historic location with its original 1800s Pipe Organ in the sanctuary. The Pipe Organ was donated to the church.
