Join The JOY FM and The Atlanta Dream Center for a special

Adopt-A-Block day on Saturday, April 20th!

“The Atlanta Dream Center’s Adopt-A-Block outreach is transforming the city of Atlanta one street at a time. Each week, volunteers bring love and lasting change to some of the city’s most impoverished neighborhoods through simple acts of service. Volunteers hand out bags of food, play games with neighborhood children, pick up trash - all while building meaningful relationships and sharing the love of Christ with people living in the community. As the first ministry founded by the Dream Center, Adopt-A-Block embodies the true spirit of servanthood and the power it has to transform not only a single life but an entire city”

Put Love in Action and volunteer with us as we hit the streets to serve needs of people living in the area around the DreamCenter AND invite them to a special JOY FM block party later in the day!

PLUS,we'll be asking people we minister to to write their dreams on white ribbons. The ribbons will be worn by people running in The Ribbon Run 5K on May 4th as a symbol of hope that God will make a way for that person's dream to come true. 100% of the 5K proceeds will go to help outreaches of the Dream Center.

WHEN

Saturday, April 20th

We'll meet at 10:00am for worship and encouragement, then we'll split into teams and head out to our blocks around the Dream Center with flyers about the block party and a heart to serve the many different needs. At NOON, we'll meet up in the park across the street from the Dream Center for the block party!

YOU make this special day possible by registering to volunteer your time to minister and serve alongside your fellow JOY FM listeners and staff. All YOU need to bring is a servant's heart and willingness to serve in downtown Atlanta

***You can come for the whole day or a portion. Just note hours you can help when you register to volunteer below
***We have room for HUNDREDS of volunteers! But registration is required
***Volunteers for this Love in Action campaign MUST be at least 18 years of age. Parents/guardians are allowed to bring children under the age of 18 but they MUST be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times
