Here are some ways to spread JOY in your community-

Saturday, May 18th-

The Pantry (Douglas County)
They need special help next Saturday, May 18th from 2:30p to 7pm to sort and process the food items from the Post Office "Stamp Out Hunger" collection. Click their link for volunteer details.

Saturday, June 15th- 

#BAM 5 on 5 Basketball Tournament (Atlanta)

BAM (Born Again Movement) is hosting a 5 on 5 Basketball Tournament. They are in need of volunteers to help with- 

  • set up & clean up
  • registration
  • concessions
  • Partner Care Team to assist pastors, special guests and basketball players

Ongoing Volunteer Opportunities

The I-58 Mission (Senoia)
Volunteers needed Thursday from 10a-3p for the food pantry & clothes closet. After hours volunteers needed for donation deliveries and pick ups.

The Hotdog Club (Macon)

The Hotdog Club is an after-school ministry to neighborhood children in Macon.  David and Shirley Duncan are serving the children out of their home every day.  They give the children snacks, help with homework, and tell a Bible story. You can hear more about their work on The Jules Show podcast.

Ronald McDonald House Charities of West Georgia (Columbus)

Volunteers are needed to staff the Ronald McDonald Family House room inside Piedmont Columbus Regional Hospital to help families in need of a break while their child is in the hospital. Click the link above for more information.

RiverLife (Coweta County)

RiverLife connects volunteers with people in need of critical home repair and yard clean up. We also host quarterly serve days called #ServeCoweta! 

Crossroads Church Missions (Carrollton)

Crossroads Church hosts a mobile pantry to distribute food to the community. It is typically held on the 3rd Saturday of every month. Starting in June, distribution will begin at 9:00am, so volunteers are needed at 8:00am to help prepare the food for distribution. We're typically done in about 1 1/2-2 hours. Kids are welcome to help with adult supervision! 

Sacred Journey Hospice (Atlanta, Columbus, Macon)
