On Thursday, July 25 the Grammy-nominated African Children's Choir will be performing at Buckhead Theatre with local celebrities such as ATL Collective. They are in town as part of an independent documentary being filmed through their eyes.

The film, Imba Means Sing, is being produced by Erin Levin, a former CNN producer, who lives in Atlanta. Through the lens of Moses and Angel, two children from the African Children's Choir, the film brings together the playfulness and bittersweet beauty of childhood in a cinematic adventure that is compelling, inspiring and thought-provoking.

Erin was featured earlier this spring on HLN's Making It In America for making the film:

On July 25, there will be a screening and premiere of a short version of Imba Means Sing - along with performances by local artists such as ATL Collective, the Shadowboxers, Chris Cauley, Chinua Hawk and the Amerson brothers. Proceeds from the evening will be split between supporting the Choir and the film.
