Week of January 7-11, 2013

A strong sense of purpose was evident all over Downtown Atlanta last week as over 60,000 students and ministry leaders from across the country and around the world descended on the Georgia Dome for the Passion 2013 conference, the largest single Passion gathering in North America in the 18-year history of the Passion movement.  College students from all 50 states, 55 different countries, and 2,200 college campuses were represented at the four-day conference, which featured messages from Francis Chan, John Piper, Beth Moore, Louie Giglio, and other dynamic speakers.

LISTEN   Dave & Carmen recapped some of the highlights from Passion 2013, including Chris Tomlin's performance of his newest hit called God's Great Dance Floor, which is on his new album, Burning Lights

Massachusetts Mom Has Son Sign 18-Point Agreement for iPhone

Thirteen-year-old Greg Hoffman had been begging his parents for an iPhone all year. So on Christmas morning he was thrilled to find the object of his desire under the tree, but there was a catch.

The phone came with an 18-point set of terms and conditions that he had to agree to before the phone could be his. And the agreement did not come from Apple or the phone provider, it was from his mother.
